Any saz players out there? I'm thinking about buying one, but it has to be mail order and I don't want to buy junk. Help!

Anybody that's putting machine head tuners on a saz is certainly going in the right direction.....
I bought mine from the German E-bay, and they may have gotten it in turn from The Saz Shop. Machine tuners, truss rod, pickup, hardcase. -

Tue, September 19, 2006 - 11:31 AMWow! Those are beautiful sazes! I especially like the olive body ones. Does anyone have a preference for long or short neck? -

Re: buying a saz
Tue, September 19, 2006 - 12:28 PMTo me, the long neck is the way to go. More options musically (though less comfortable to play....). If I had more ape-like arms, I'm sure it would be easier.....this defect has held me back in my talking drum playing as well :-) -

Here's another site. I haven't bought from them either, but they look like beautiful instruments and have machine tuners.
